With great fun and joy ladies played different games, tasted different Turkish delicious food and of course had a wonderful conversation in such a nice warm environment, drinking Turkish coffee. RAINDROP TURKISH HOUSE HOSTED TURKEY TRIP PARTICIPANTS
img_0590_-_copy.jpgParticipants to Turkey Trip from this year and previous years had a chance to come together last night in Raindrop Turkish House. They shared the moments that live on in their memories by looking at pictures from the trip. The guests also talked about planning some future events in order to keep in touch while having delicious Turkish food and Turkish tea served by Raindrop Turkish House.
†Raindrop Turkish House organizes cultural trips to Turkey as yet another means of building bridges and strengthening friendships between Turkish-Americans and their neighbors. Executives of Raindrop Turkish House and Institute of Interfaith Dialog visited Glenn Brown, College Station City Manager. During the visit, Mr. Brown was informed about the upcoming activities: Turkic festival and Interfaith Dinner. During warm conversation, they talked about the importance of cultural and dialog activities being organized by these two sister organizations. Mr. Hickman mentioned about his willingness to participate interfaith trip to Turkey. They also talked about the importance of increasing relations between Turkish and American businessmen. Upon invitation, Mr. Hickman told that he would be very pleased to visit Raindrop Turkish House and take part in 6th annual interfaith dinner on October, 5 2008.
